hello everybody,
our first story of the series is about viraj my projectmate and an excellent coder. I will take you to the early days of our project when nobody knew what has to be done and everybody had ideas, SAT was full of creativity. One such idea which later became a grand success was to design a parser to decipher the undecipherable. To discover the depths of modem and to steal away its privacy. This was a tough job, therefore was entrusted to viraj. Viraj worked day and night, using various algorithms and exploring all the creative ideas of the SAT team but ALAS!! nothing was working. All the eyes were fixed on him. Is it Done? Did you try this?
Every soul was trying to take viraj out of that terrible fate, but it was not before Gaurav J came up with an algorithm that SAT started to breathe again along with Viraj and his well wishers.
Viraj was revived and he started it all over again writing every line with care. Treating every tag as human. We were all marvelled at his work when he finished. It was a perfect peice of work. Code written too intricately. But with success comes its cons, It was perfect but the people using it were not. Errors started getting reported and abuses were pouring in. "There is an error" somebody exclaimed, "must be parser" other one said. Errors were reported as parsers' but were later sorted out as coding flaws of others. Viraj was litrally a ghost by now, facing this every sec of his office life and in nightmares at night. But slowly and gradually people learned to use it and Viraj learned to ignore people screaming parser! parser! Although still parser is existent successfully and is still the most dreadful nightmare to Viraj.
After all viraj suffered for this PARSER, he is still proud to say he created it.
These days parser i mean Viraj is coding for modem drivers and "testing" them. He is still enthusiastic and energetic.
